Every Mum Has One

Every mum’s had a period horror story. Her daughter won’t.

Mums told us their period horror stories. We turned them into monsters – and made sure their daughters never have to meet them.

Real Mums, Real Stories

  • Naomi

“I had this brand new white dance costume… and everyone saw it.”

  • Soraya

“I’d worn beige trousers to work… I had nothing else with me.”

  • Charlotte

“My brand new white jeans… I’d leaked straight through them.”

Her period, sorted

One pair fits three sizes. They grow with her.

Teen Stretch™ period pants hold her flow for up to 12 hours, so there’s nothing to change at school.

The questions every mum asks

Do period pants actually work?

Teen Stretch™ gives up to 12 hours of leak-proof protection, so she can get through a full school day.

Will she feel like she’s wearing a pad?

No. They look and feel like normal knickers. Nothing to stick in, nothing to rustle, nothing to change at school.

What size does she need?

Teen Stretch™ is made to stretch, so one pair fits three sizes and grows with her. Check the size guide on the product page.

What if it starts at school?

Pop a spare pair in her school bag with the two pocket changing bag: clean pair in one side, worn pair in the other.

How do we wash them?

Rinse in cold water, then machine wash. Hang them to dry and skip the fabric softener.

Is she too young to start?

She can start wearing them when she notices discharge in her knickers, which usually comes before her first period. Then she’s ready on day one.

Are they worth the money?

One pair can replace around 200 disposable pads, so they save money and waste over time.

In class

To her coach

Keep it in her school bag so she never has to think about it.

The SURF toolkit for a better cycle

Sleep

A good night’s sleep can make everything feel better.

Unplug

Take a break from screens and try something different, once a day.

Release

Let her express how she feels. Ups and downs are normal.
