Are these period pants suitable for people with fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis or adenomyosis?
Yes, in fact these underwear were designed with you in mind. We understand how debilitating these conditions are and how super heavy flow requires additional protection. These pants will hopfully provide you with additional comfort and confidence on the heaviest days.
How do I care for my WUKA period pants?
Please wash these pants before wearing for the first time. Our WUKA Stretch period pants require a cold wash only. If your machine doesn’t have this setting, hand washing is your best alternative. We recommend treating your period pants as delicates. Using our mesh laundry bag will help to protect the fabric and prolong the life of your underwear.
How do WUKA period pants work?
Layers. Our many layers contribute to making sure you get a long lasting feeling of dryness and security, not having to worry about leakage, smell or infection. Every pair includes a super absorbent gusset which consists of many layers, the middle layers absorb and lock in the blood whilst working with the outer layer to ensure you stay dry through your day to day activities! Period pants look and feel like your regular underwear but they are leak-proof, which means you don't have to wear a pad, a tampon or menstrual cup when you wear them during your period.
How many pairs do I need?
We find that 5-7 pairs is best for most customers considering they last up to 2 years. Check out our savings on bundle cycle sets for 3 to 5 pairs.
I have really heavy periods, will I need to use any additional products?
It depends on the level of absorbency that you need. WUKA are designed to hold a certain amount of menstrual flow, as specified on our website from light flow to super heavy flow. If you have a very heavy flow, it's always best to carry extra pants.
How long will my period pants last for?
WUKA period pants can be reused for up to 2 years. For the first 40 days after you receive an order we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on your first pair of WUKA pants.
Do WUKA pants contain PFA's?
The simple answer is no! WUKA has been committed since day one to not use any harmful chemicals in the production of our products. All of the materials that we use are planet friendly, animal friendly and contain no added chemicals, such as silver or antibacterial treatments, stain-resistant or Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs or PFSAs). All WUKA are independently tested by Highstreet Textile Testing Services Ltd (HTTS) who guarantee there is zero trace of PFA's in our products.
How do I wash and dry my period pants?
After use, rinse with cold water until the water runs clear. This is best done immediately after removing. Pop your WUKA with similar, dark coloured garments and wash at 30-40ºc, inside out. Don't use fabric conditioners. Air dry your WUKA Period Pants outside on the line or indoors on an airer. Don't tumble dry it. For the Heavy Flow and the Super Heavy Flow, we advise washing inside out and giving them an extra spin. As well as this, we recommend sticking on a warm radiator to ensure complete dryness. We always advise washing pants as cold as possible. This will prolong the lifespan of your pants and also keep the absorbency as high as possible. Refrain from drying in a dryer or on a radiator (if possible) and always dry inside out. We would not suggest leaving your WUKA pants to soak for a prolonged time, this can cause the material and bonding to wear and damage quicker.

Brilliant pants!

This site came up on my Facebook page and having had a look, I have signed up for my granddaughter who has started her periods at the young age of 10. She is very body, earth, climate aware but the school pack was very impressive and she loved the book. ( So did her mother and I ) I especially like the fact that you got a discrete bag to store both clean and used pants as kids can be mean. If only we had this when I was a kid. . I'm told the pants are very good, comfortable and do what is expected of them.

Small sizing

Bought for my tall and slim 10 year old and measured her hips per the sizing guide but still very tight. Only one in pack which obviously has be opened to try on so now unable to return. Very expensive purchase for an unusable product

Damage

Hi I opened the knickers and it was damaged with a string snagged in the middle of crunch i was not sure to pull it out or cut it out in case it damages the whole point of the knickers. I did contact customer service to have an exchange I didn’t receive any response but I have received an email to leave a review.
